Should I keep my child off school?

Your child’s absence is vital in order that they make the best proposed commitment in school. However, we know there are times when your child is not well enough to be in school because of illness, therefore we ask that you phone the school before 9.15am on the first day of their illness and maintain regular contact while your child is off.

School Clubs

The school offers a range of clubs during the school year.
In 2021/22 these will include:

  • Key Skills
  • Trampolining
  • Scooter Club
  • Gardening

The clubs take place  after school.  Many are run by school staff, and some are run by external providers.

There is an independently run wrap around childcare facility organised by Nuneaton and Bedworth Leisure Trust on site.  Little Monsters Club (Ofsted registered) runs from 7:30am – 9:00am and 3pm-6pm daily during term time.  Trained staff care for the children and offer them the opportunity to take part in sports activities organised by professional coaches.

I really like dancing, we learn new dances and sometimes we play games. My favourite dance routine is the Indian Bangra dancing.
I really like it when we play 'Swim Fishy Swim', because you get to try and run to the line without getting tigged! I feel really proud when I run fast and get there quickly without been tigged.
I learnt how to do a back flip, I found it really tricky at first but I practised a lot and stuck at it and then I could do it. I was very proud of myself. We did seat drops as well you know!
In Music Club we pressed the bells in time while we were singing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' and Mrs Smith showed us a Xylophone, which was made of wood and it made a really pretty sound. I like going to Music Club, it makes me feel happy!
